  • Yellow Fever Vaccination

Yellow fever is a serious infection spread by mosquitoes. It’s found in parts of Africa, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. The yellow fever vaccine is recommended if you’re travelling to:

    • An area where yellow fever is found
    • A country that requires you to have a certificate proving you have been vaccinated against yellow fever

    Which pharmacies offer this service?

We have three NathNac registered yellow fever centres.

    • Wallington (London)
    • Northlands (Haywards Heath)
    • Failsworth Healthcentre (Manchester)

How does the Prescribing Service work?

Simply start your consultation by completing the medical questionnaire which is available on the bottom of this service page. One of our experienced and qualified pharmacist prescribers will assess your questionnaire to ensure the medication is safe and appropriate.

If the supply is deemed appropriate, the prescriber will send a private prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. Should they have any questions or concerns they will call you to discuss the supply further. We aim to complete the process and have your vaccination ready for administration within two working days

    Yellow Fever Questionnaire

This is asked in order to ensure that any symptoms you currently have are not mistaken for side effects of the vaccination.
(e.g. leukaemias, lymphoma, cellular immune deficiencies, chronic lymphoproliferative conditions, stem cell transplant)
(e.g. steroids, biological or non-biological immune modulating medicines, treatment following an organ transplant)
