Shingles Vaccine
Anyone that has had chickenpox is at risk of developing an attack of shingles which can be intensely painful. The shingles vaccine is given as a single injection into the upper arm. Unlike the flu jab, you’ll only need to have the vaccination once and you can have it at any time of the year.
The shingles vaccine is available to those aged over 50 years and can be administered by your Kamsons pharmacist at your local branch for £225 per dose (two dose course).

How does the service work?
The Shingles vaccine is available from Kamsons pharmacy for £215 per dose (two dose course). Following the completion of the below form, our prescriber will review your questionnaire and, where appropriate, will send your chosen branch a prescription. We recommend contacting the pharmacy two days after completing the form to arrange your appointment to have your shingles vaccine administered.
