Kamsons pharmacy is a family run group of over 70 pharmacies based across England.
The first pharmacy in the group was opened in Uckfield, Sussex over forty years ago.
Kamsons Pharmacy has the advantage of being small enough to care but with the back up and support to be able to develop and undertake new and innovative services. Most importantly we always ensure that any service we offer is delivered at high quality.
In 2021 we had the pleasure of welcoming HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to our office and warehouse in Uckfield. The Duchess met pharmacy, office and warehouse staff who have worked throughout the pandemic to keep our pharmacies open. During the visit HRH unveiled a plaque to officially mark the opening of the building.
Services we provide
Every pharmacy will dispense NHS and private prescriptions and also provide a free prescription delivery service.
A number of innovative services are also available. In Brighton and Hove, four of our pharmacies provide an award winning INR monitoring service to patients prescribed Warfarin. If you take Warfarin and live in this area then please ask your local Kamsons Pharmacy about this service.
Some of our pharmacists are independent prescribers and are currently commissioned to prescribe for substance misusers as well as prescribing medicines for malaria prophylaxis and erectile dysfunction. We offer a full clinical pharmacy and medicines supply service to hospices and to detention centres with specialist pharmacists. Kamsons Pharmacy provides medicines to a number of NHS Trusts.
Full details of which services your local Kamsons Pharmacy provides can be found on their individual page under the branches section of this website. You can contact your local Kamsons Pharmacy, either by telephone or via the website to register for more information. Each Kamsons Pharmacy is able to receive electronic prescriptions from prescribers throughout England.
Each of the pharmacies listed, who are owned by Waremoss Ltd, are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and are members of the National Pharmacy Association. The registration status of a pharmacy and the pharmacies GPhC number can be checked on the GPhC website.
